Fees Information
- Due to the individual needs of each specific client and each individual situation, fees are generally quoted on a per project basis. Information related to fee types, billing frequencies and expenses follows.
Retainer Based
- covering a negotiated fixed period during which time consulting services will be available to the client and a per-call basis. The work performed falls within the support category and the scope of the provided support is specified in a maintenance agreement. Items falling outside the scope of the agreement may be handled on an ad hoc basis with individual quotations submitted per item
- retainer based, fixed periods generally range in length from six to twelve months. Renewal of retainer based maintenance agreements will be on mutally agreeable terms
Per Project
- fees quoted on a per project basis are determined through an initial meeting, with no charge to the client
- definition of the business case and a general summary of the solution to be supplied and implemented are presented in the form of a quotation
- factors affecting the quotation of fees include: complexity, duration, availability of required resources and target date for project completion
Ad Hoc Consulting
- covering short periods of time with specific, narrow focuss goals
- fees will typically be presented in a quotation on a per hour basis
Fee Frequency
- fees will be presented for work completed in the form of an invoice with payment terms as previously negotiated
- fees for projects covering protracted periods will be billed on a bi-weekly frequency
- ad hoc fees will be invoiced within two weeks following completion of the work
- invoices will be accompanied by a Time Sheet showing details of work performed per date and time
Expenses
- contracts requiring travel will include travel expenses incurred within the current billing period as a separate item on the applicable invoice
- out of pocket expenses incurred directly on behalf of the client will be billed in a manner and frequency similar to travel expenses within agreed periods
